Day 6 of 90

Today was stressful, but I tried my best! Our day was filled with emotion- I won't get in to the details because that's not what I want this post to be about today.

I had a smoothie for breakfast. I love smoothies because they're easy and always good. They also satisfy my sugar cravings.

For lunch, I had some yummy taco soup. The ingredients are simple: ground turkey, a can of black beans, a can of kidney beans (I didn't have any so I used pinto), a can of drained corn, and some tomato paste (topped it with some cheese). It's a hearty meal. Idk why it looks gross in this pic, I promise it's so good.

For snacks I had some popcorn and grapes (not pictured here).

Since it was a stressful day, I had a (kind of) comfort food, I made a bean and cheese quesadilla on a spinach wrap. I realized I had a lot of beans today- is that healthy or no? lol

Also, I made some iced coffee with some oat milk and it was perfffffff.

Really thinking about doing more research on the actual nutrients all the food I am eating possesses, and which I need to consume more. Mental (and actual) note to do that soon.

Final thoughts: I'm thankful for those of you who read my blog. Because of you, I make better decisions each day. Huge confession: I am a stress eater. On days like today, I would've wanted 4 slices of pizza and some ice cream, but I knew I would have to type it out. Thank you! thank you for keeping me accountable and for believing in me. I hope there are some results from this.
