Day 8 of 90

Well hello again,

Honestly if you're still here, you're a real one.

Having a plan really worked out today for the most part.

In the morning I had oatmeal with honey, chia seeds, and peanut butter. I allowed honey on my oatmeal because it's a natural sweetener and I didn't use a lot of it. I found out honey carries antioxidants (which is cool), chia seeds have a good source of fiber and potassium, and peanut butter has a little protein in there too. ;) I usually top my oatmeal with berries, but I actually ran out lol

My lunch is not pictured, because Pique and I went to help a friend with some hurricane damage at their house, and they bought us lunch. We had a grilled cool wrap from Chick-fil-a (it's healthy and SO GOOD), with their creamy salsa. Guys. I wish I took a pic but it was a very busy day. I was so proud of myself because I got water to drink, but I forgot that our combo came with fries and guys.... when I got that bag.... I didn't have self-control to say no. If you know me, you know I can never say no to fries.

for a snack later I had some grapes and then for dinner I had some riced cauliflower with chicken, brussel sprouts, and broccoli. Seasoned very well. Overall, I was pretty proud of myself today. :)

My biggest fear is not having any results from this. I don't know why. It seems irrational, but it's what I've been feeling lately. I think it just has to do with me, as a human, wanting fast results or instant gratification. I have to remind myself that these things take time and that's okay.
